#2 Eastside Bike Ride
Ready to step up your skills to the next level? This second ride uses the Court Hill Trail and the sidepath along Lower West Branch Road. There are a few short sections of on-street riding on very low-volume streets that will allow you to practice transitioning from trail to street and back. You can do it!
This ride is intended to get the whole family thinking about the possibilities for commuting by bike and it’s especially useful as a foundation for riding to school. Get to know the trail and the and you’ll have the whole summer to practice your commute. You might even consider using this as an opportunity to pick up groceries or carry-out food on your bike . . . or ice cream.
The map shows a 6-mile loop or a 4 mile out and back ride that takes you to 4 miles out and back between Creekside Park and Scott Park.
ENJOY!
